TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of memeOS ("the App"), provided by the memeOS team ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. LICENSE GRANT

memeOS grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms.

2. USER-GENERATED CONTENT (MEMES)

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create using memeOS. However, by creating content, you grant memeOS a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, and display such content for the sole purpose of operating and improving our services.

You are solely responsible for the content you create and share. You agree not to create memes that are illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

3. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

You agree not to:

- Use the App for any illegal purpose.

- Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or hack the App.

- Use the App to infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.

- Bypass any security measures or access controls.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY (IP)

The memeOS name, logos, and the "OS" interface design are the exclusive property of memeOS. The templates provided are curated from public domain sources; however, the usage of specific trademarks or copyrighted characters within user-generated memes is the sole legal responsibility of the user.

5. TERMINATION

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the App or us.

6. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEMEOS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE APP.

8. APPLE APP STORE ADDITIONAL TERMS

If you are using memeOS on an Apple iOS device, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and memeOS only, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance and support for the App.
