Dressed in a brown hooded robe resembling a fantasy wizard, the unidentified protester was filmed effortlessly navigating deep, sticky mud that had trapped several heavily armored riot police officers. The footage of the 'wizard' playfully pushing an officer back into the muck while the police struggled to stand went viral for its David vs. Goliath vibes and physical comedy. It is commonly used to represent someone who is unfazed by obstacles that stop everyone else, or to mock bureaucratic incompetence and the hubris of authority.
