Buffsuki is a popular fan-created variation of Natsuki, a character from the psychological horror visual novel Doki Doki Literature Club (DDLC). The image features Natsuki’s cute, pink-haired head photoshopped onto an extremely muscular bodybuilder's physique, subverting her petite in-game appearance. First gaining traction on Reddit and 4chan shortly after the game’s 2017 release, the meme quickly became a symbol of Natsuki’s aggressive personality and her iconic defense of manga. It is primarily used to represent someone who looks harmless but possesses overwhelming strength, or to assert dominance in arguments about anime and literature.
